Trying Essential Oil Vapes - Monq
'These Portable Aromatherapy Oils Are My New Stay-Healthy-While-Traveling Essentials'
I think we can all agree that travel is one of the best things in life. But the whole getting to your destination part? Pure torture. As someone who can't afford to fly business class (I wish!), the reality of my frequent long-haul (and red eye) travel is me sitting in a cramped coach cabin, surrounded by people who always seem to be coughing and sneezing. Throw in my fear of even the slightest bit of turbulence, and I’m arriving wherever I’m going with a tweaked neck and anxiety at best—and a new cold at worst.
That is, until I started packing these new , one of my favorite clean skincare brands. In only a couple of months, they’ve become completely crucial travel companions for me—I'm talking as necessary as my eye mask and headphones. The brand worked with one of the most preeminent aromatherapists, Kurt Schnaubelt, Ph.D., to develop these blends using super high-quality whole essential oils. What does that mean? The formulas actually deliver on their promises to reduce stress, soothe achy muscles, and boost your immunity.
Almost anything can set me off, whether I’m running late to catch my flight (NYC traffic, UGH!) or there’s turbulence or a delay.
To relax, I’ll roll the Stress Relief formula onto my wrists, then cup my hands around my nose and inhale deeply.
This creates a mini diffuser of sorts to help the oils work their magic. The star of this formula is tarragon oil, which activates the parasympathetic nervous system to calm you down.
I like to roll it directly onto my chest (it reminds me of how my mom would rub Vicks on me as a kid) and breathe in deeply. It’s loaded with ravinstara, which stimulates the immune system with antibacterial properties.
After a red eye, I used to be out of commission for a few days with a cold. Not anymore—this has kept me healthy through my last few overnight flights.
When I land, I roll it directly over my tight lower back or stiff neck. It has chamomile to relax muscles and clary sage to soothe aches. For an extra boost, I hop in the shower after applying—wet skin helps the product penetrate more, plus loosens up sore spots.
This trio takes the guesswork out of aromatherapy—and they literally take the pain out of traveling—so you can concentrate on the highs, not the hassles.
